Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 25, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain the rules for using transportation request and communication services provided by Forge Forward Transit Foundation (“Forge Forward,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By submitting a request, you agree to use the service honestly, safely, and respectfully.
Transportation requests
Submitting a request does not guarantee a ride. Each request is subject to staff review, route eligibility, volunteer and vehicle availability, timing, safety considerations, and final confirmation. Our normal service area is Fort Riley, Junction City, and Manhattan, Kansas. Hours, notice requirements, and service limits may change based on operations.
Rider responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact, pickup, destination, passenger, and safety information.
- Arrive on time and notify us promptly about changes or cancellations.
- Behave respectfully and follow driver safety instructions, including seat-belt requirements.
- Do not request emergency transportation through this service. Call 911 for emergencies.
- Obtain required guardian consent for riders under 18 and provide accurate emergency-contact information.
Volunteer transportation
Forge Forward coordinates nonprofit transportation support and may rely on volunteers and service providers. Drivers may decline or end a ride when conditions are unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or outside the approved request. We may suspend access for misuse, threats, harassment, fraud, or repeated no-shows.
SMS Terms
By checking the SMS consent box on the ride-request form, you agree to receive text messages from Forge Forward Transit Foundation about your transportation request. Messages may include booking confirmations, approval updates, driver assignment notices, pickup reminders, cancellations, and ride-status updates. Message frequency varies based on booking activity, typically 1–5 messages per ride request. Message and data rates may apply.
SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of receiving transportation or other services. No marketing messages are sent through this program. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for assistance. After you opt out, you may receive one final confirmation message. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You confirm that the phone number you provide belongs to you or that you are authorized to use it, and you will update it if it changes.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and SMS opt-in information.
Information and communications
We may contact you by phone, email, or text using the information you provide to coordinate a ride, address a safety issue, respond to support requests, or provide service updates. Communication availability may vary, and a message is not a substitute for checking your confirmed ride details.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Questions may be sent to forgeforwardtransitmain@forgeforwardtransit.com.
